Little did I know how challenging it would be creating a business name and logo design that represents the business personally and what we do.
We played around with several names and tossed them out to family and friends; a few months would pass, and the process would begin all over again only to end up with the same unsuccessful outcome!

It wasn’t until I reached out to Michelle Power for brand development tips and Nicholas Cloake for logo and design ideas that I was encouraged to look at the creative process from a different angle.

We wanted a name that would represent our love for nature and outdoor activities.
We looked at drawing inspiration from the ocean, mountains, and animals. After all attempts failed, we returned to the drawing board and focused on objects close to home, which had significant importance.

The Scots Pine tree in the first picture from my late grandmothers’ home is very symbolic to the Keane family. We decided to incorporate this symbol into the name and as a result Leaning Tree Media was born.

The logo design was the fun part where we got to sketch ideas, create mood boards, and choose colour schemes.
We wanted a colour scheme that had an equal balance of light and dark shades.
🌸Tree- Pink shade for the entire tree as a symbol of modern, youthful, and luxury.
⚪️Writing- ‘Leaning Tree Media’ pure white as a symbol of youthfulness.
🌚Background- Dark Gray as a symbol of class and professionalism.
