As part of our video production process, we will schedule a pre-production meeting to discuss your video ideas. Once we have a better understanding of your company and which aspects need developing, we will then advise you on which video types we think will work best for your business goals.
At Leaning Tree Media, we can provide a bank of experienced male and female voiceover artists, that will complement your video production and take it to the next level of professionalism. Once you have finalised your video script, your chosen voiceover artist will send you a sample recording for you to approve. We understand how important it is to choose the best voiceover, and when you are happy with the final recording, we will then input it into your video and begin to build the visuals.

If you wish to create a scene that requires actors, we can provide a casting service that will match experienced actors to your characters.
We can also provide presenters for your product promotions, how-to guides, and demonstration videos. This enables us to create full videos, with a presenter from beginning to end with the use of a green screen if required.
Generally, we film content in landscape 1920x1080p, which is commonly used across the majority of social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
There are situations where a client will ask us to create or resize a video for a specific social media channel, such as Instagram, where a 1080x1080p (1:1 aspect ratio) and a 1080x1350p (4:5 aspect ratio) is most suitable. There is also a specific size for Instagram stories and IGTV of 1080x1920p (9:16 aspect ratio).
For Twitter, we must be mindful that we can only produce a video that is two minutes and twenty seconds in length.
It is important that we know which platform you wish to showcase your content on at the pre-production stage. We can then film the content in a specific size, so that we can give you maximum exposure on your social media channels.

At Leaning Tree Media, we operate a DJI Mavic Pro which we use on a regular basis when capturing several different shots for our video content, such as establishing shots of an area to open up a video, or general aerial shots to showcase the size of an object or landscape.
Aerial videos are very popular for website landing pages, which can be used along with aerial photography for website header images.
At Leaning Tree Media, we work with a team of motion graphic designers and specialised animators to provide our clients with videos which bring their ideas alive in a colourful and fun way. In addition, motion graphic videos have become very popular when used as explainer videos, with content which otherwise may be challenging to share due to the content being difficult to understand or uninteresting to the viewer.
Leaning Tree Media has two office locations: one in Mayo in the west of Ireland and another in Kilkenny in the southeast of Ireland, and we work with clients nationwide from all ends of the country.
Kilkenny is renowned for its creative culture and has hosted several annual festivals, such as the Subtitle Film Festival, the Cats Laugh Comedy Festival and the Kilkenny Arts Festival.
We are proud to be based in a town that is famous for its award-winning animation culture.
Mayo is famous for its breath-taking landscape and friendly culture, and we have been very fortunate to have been able to create Mayo tourism content for the local county council, Mayo GAA and hotel groups.
Video production is a specialised process, and it requires a team of qualified personnel such as producers, directors, videographers, and post-production specialists such as video editors and animators.
A number of factors can affect the cost of a video, such as the size of the production, casting talent, and post-production requirements
Equipment– High quality equipment is a key element when creating professional video content. Film equipment can be very expensive and the smallest of jobs may require the same amount of equipment as large productions. Some companies will charge clients a fee for rental of their equipment. However, here at Leaning Tree Media, we include the cost of our equipment rental into the overall production budget.
Crew– For larger video productions, crew members may be required. For example, at live streaming events additional team members are required for different roles such as sound technicians, vision mixers, lighting, producers, directors, and floor managers.
Talent- If your corporate, brand or training video requires an actor or a voiceover artist, we most accommodate this cost into the final budget.
Post-production- Post-production can also play a part in the overall cost of creating a video. Once we have filmed the content, it will then go to the video editor, who will begin building the blocks. If motion graphics are required, we need a specialised team of animators to create the animation, and the editor can then input these animations onto your video. Any motion graphic requirements will be discussed in the pre-production stages, and we also include colour grading and a certain amount of animated text in our overall budget.
Video brief– We require a detailed video brief from the client prior to finalising a cost. The brief will need to include the type of video you would like created, the desired length, talent requirements if any, animation if required, deadline dates, a script or testimonial and case study details, if already prepared. We also require any reference material, such as online videos which you like and those which suit your video ideas.
At Leaning Tree Media, we partner with you to turn your video idea into a working motion picture. The first step to creating a video is arranging a call, where we can discuss your idea. We will then send you a video brief, so that you can provide as much information as possible, along with any links to online videos which you like. Once we receive your video brief, we will process the information and come back to you with a cost for the production.
Once you have agreed on the budget, we will begin developing the production stages, which include pre-production, production, and post-production.
Pre-production
This is the planning stage, where we will begin to develop your video idea. We will look at the script or questions if creating a testimonial or case study video. Then, once we have a finalised script, we will look at developing a story board which will allow us to visualise your final production.
Once the story board is complete, we will create a shot list along with camera moves and angle requirements.
During this pre-production stage we begin our search for actors or voiceover talent.
Our final stage is to plan the film crew required for the shoot and to set a date and location for filming.
Production
Once a storyboard, cast and crew have been finalised, we will begin the production stage where we film the content based on the storyboard, with guidance wherever required for visuals and camera angles.
Pre-production
During this stage, we will require feedback from you and any stakeholders in the project.
We will send you a Vimeo link for the initial rough draft, where you will be able to make your comments.
From here we will start working on the next draft, where we will begin building the blocks, by including the visuals, music bed, colour correction, sound effects, text, and motion graphics, if required. We will then send you a second draft, where you can add your comments.
If there are no additional amendments, we will send you a third and final draft in a full HD format for you to download and use as you please.

Nowadays, people are creating more and more videos for their online social media channels but learning the basics about how to create these videos can be complicated, especially when one social media platform requires a different size video from the other.

Filming content can sometimes be the easiest step in creating a great video. However, editing the content can be the most challenging and requires a lot of creativity and attention to detail, especially if you want to produce a high-quality professional video for your brand.
At Leaning Tree Media, we offer video editing training either online through zoom or on location. We generally begin with Filmora, which is a user-friendly video editing software that allows you to create high quality videos. Once you are comfortable with Filmora, we can progress onto Premiere Pro, which is the professional industry standard video editing software, and it will give you more functionality to take your videos editing to the next level of professionalism.
